As a child, I spent a lot of my time in the school library hiding from other kids and looking at picture books. In my home there was never a lack of newspaper comic strips and art anthology books to get lost in. It didn't take long before I was making up my own characters and comics.
I love to make people smile. That is what has motivated me to keep making art throughout all of these years.
I draw inspiration from the things I see on my day to day and the people that I love. Living in a big city like Mexico City, I can always find interesting and new things to inspire me.
I've been working as a freelance illustrator for over ten years now. My work has focused mainly on creating artwork for children's and young adult publications.
Some of my clients include: Editorial Norma, Edebé, Edelvives, Editorial Santillana, Macmillan Education, Cambridge University Press, Capplen Damm, Stone Arch Books Editorial Televisa and Editorial Notmusa.
If you want to get in touch with me for work, of just to say hi, please leave me a message in my contact page and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
